In a way, you could say that. I look at it more as something for all visitors. Anyone that comes through those doors should be decent. To me, that's not so much of a dress code, just like "No shirt, no shoes, no service" isn't considered a dress code.

I think they have a right to say all that. However a parent should have some dress sense and if she hasn't it will be noted by the school and by the children and will come back to haunt her anyway.
